Burned My First Audio CD in iTunes in 15 Years Today

·

I did something I haven’t done in the past 15 years, if not more — I burned an audio CD in iTunes, to use in the CD player in my car. This wasn’t as easy as I had hoped.

First of all, I had to find my DVD burner, which was buried somewhere in the closet. Then I actually had to go out and buy a pack of CD-Rs, which turned out to be harder than I thought. The last issue was with iTunes itself — I can’t burn the songs I add to my library from Apple Music, since they’re DRMed. Unfortunately, I had to buy them, but that wasn’t possible at first. Since all the music in my library, which I added from Apple Music, is downloaded to my computer (so I don’t have to stream), it wasn’t available for purchase in the iTunes Store. I had to first remove the download (right-click on the song and select Remove Download), then right-click on the song again, select Go ToSong in iTunes Store, and then buy it.

The Playlist

You can try to subscribe to my shared playlist on Apple Music here. If it doesn’t work, I provided a list of all the songs below.
